
What type of country activities am I covered for?
The taking part legally in riding, horse drawn carriage driving, deer stalking, exercising hounds, hunting (including hunt followers), team chasing, hunter trials, lurcher work, sporting shooting (including clay pigeon), angling (including sea, coarse and game angling), falconry, ferreting, terrier work, hound trailing, field trials, vermin control, voluntary unpaid duties at shows, events, whippet racing, rifle shooting and target shooting, dog shows, conservation work or assisting with or spectating at recognised country activities.
What period does Countrywise cover me for?
Your cover is valid for one year.
What is the limit of indemnity?
The maximum sum payable for the legal costs and expenses is £50,000, with the maximum sum payable for identity fraud being £25,000, providing there are reasonable prospects of success. Your Personal Accident* cover provides the following maximum sums payable:

(NB: If the insured person is under 16 years of age, accidental death is limited to £2,500.)
What am I entitled to recover?
The costs of pursuing civil claims arising from an insured incident which arises during your participation in a recognised country activity which results directly in the death of or personal injury to you and/or the occurrence of all and any other uninsured losses. If you become aware of and can prove identity fraud, we agree to pay up to £25,000 for legal fees, subject to prior approval, to defend a claim wrongly made against you as a result of identity fraud, including cover of your communication costs, your loss of earnings, reinstatement of credit rating via statutory declaration, or re-application for loans.
